40 Days With Hanuman Ji: A Sankalp That Can Transform You

40 Days With Hanuman Ji: A Sankalp That Can Transform You

Blessing Time for Hanuman Bhakts

A 40-Day Journey of Faith, Strength & Devotion

11 September – 20 October

There are certain phases in our spiritual journey when we feel called to become more disciplined, more devoted and more connected to divine energy.

From 11 September to 20 October, I invite all Hanuman Bhakts to dedicate the next 40 days to Hanuman Ji.

Think of these 40 days not as a challenge, but as a sankalp — a promise you make to yourself and to Hanuman Ji.

For the next 40 days, give a little time every day to prayer, chanting and writing the divine name. Instead of constantly wondering when your circumstances will change, use this period to strengthen yourself from within.

Why 40 Days?

A consistent spiritual practice allows us to develop discipline, devotion and a deeper connection with our faith.

Hanuman Ji represents courage, devotion, strength, protection, discipline and unwavering faith.

During these 40 days, you can keep a simple intention in your heart:

“Hanuman Ji, give me the strength to overcome what I am going through and guide me towards what is right for me.”

You don’t need complicated rituals. You need consistency and genuine devotion.

1. Chant Hanuman Chalisa 7 Times Daily

For the next 40 days, chant Hanuman Chalisa seven times every day.

Find a peaceful place where you can sit without being disturbed. If you wish, you can light a diya before beginning your practice.

Close your eyes for a few moments, remember Hanuman Ji and begin your chanting.

Don’t rush simply because you have to complete seven rounds. Let this become your personal time with Hanuman Ji.

Some days you may feel deeply connected. Other days your mind may wander.

Continue anyway.

Consistency itself becomes part of your sadhana.

2. Write “राम” Every Day

Keep a separate journal for these 40 days.

Every day, sit peacefully and write:

राम राम राम राम राम…

You can decide how many times you wish to write it. What matters is doing it regularly and with devotion.

While writing Ram Naam, allow your mind to become quiet. Whenever your thoughts wander towards your worries, gently bring your attention back to the name of Shri Ram.

Hanuman Ji’s devotion to Shri Ram is at the heart of his story. Ram Naam Lekhan can therefore become a beautiful part of your 40-day practice.

Keep this journal safely after completing your sankalp.

3. Chant the 32 Names of Hanuman Ji

The third practice is chanting the 32 sacred names of Hanuman Ji, traditionally known as Hanuman Dwadtrimshat Namavali.

You can chant them after completing Hanuman Chalisa or at another peaceful time during the day.

While chanting, remember the qualities represented by Hanuman Ji — courage, intelligence, loyalty, humility, strength and complete devotion to Shri Ram.

Instead of simply repeating the names, allow the practice to remind you of the qualities you want to develop within yourself.

Your 40-Day Hanuman Sankalp

From 11 September until 20 October, follow these three simple practices every day:

  1. Chant Hanuman Chalisa 7 times
  2. Write राम in your journal
  3. Chant the 32 names of Hanuman Ji

If you have a particular wish, difficulty or intention, you can dedicate your sankalp to it on the first day.

After that, try not to become obsessed with when or how the result will appear.

Pray. Do your practice. Take the necessary actions in your everyday life. Then surrender the outcome.

When your inner state changes, your choices, actions and responses to life can begin changing too.

Start on 11 September.

Complete your sankalp on 20 October.

And allow these 40 days to teach you the power of faith, discipline and devotion.

Jai Shri Ram.
Jai Bajrangbali.
